How does fomo work?
Step 1
Download the FOMO app for Android here,and iOS here to find and enjoy 1000's of specials at restaurants and activities such as Paragliding, Quad Biking, Skydiving, spas and much more.
Step 2
Open the app and allow FOMO to access your device location, sounds technical but we promise it’s really not, just click the button when prompted
Step 3
Find specials or activities in your area, use the search bar to filter restaurants by suburb, cuisine, price. Use our day of the week filter to find a great special for date night on Saturday
Step 4
Rate your experience at the restaurant or activity on the app or read reviews on specials or events to help make decisions. Oh the beauty of freedom of speech!

Who We Are
FOMO was created out of a need that the founders, Ryan Marx and Jacqueline du Plessis had, that many South Africans struggle with, the need to see specials at restaurants and activities in your area.
Specials that are valid and not outdated, specials that are near your location and most of all, not to overspend when we don’t have to right! “We created this app because we were sick of laying in bed on a Saturday or having a lazy Wednesday where we don’t want to cook dinner, asking the age-old question… where should we go for dinner?!” or “What exciting activity can we do today?”
I’m sure as many of you know, this causes major frustration because we don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to eat out or do something fun.
Well, that’s why we came up with FOMO, the app that tells you where to find the special you are looking for. Great for business owners because they don’t have to spend thousands trying to get their specials seen on Facebook and hella great for consumers because we don’t have to rely on restaurants and businesses to use their Instagram marketing skills(no offence) for us to see their amazeballs specials. Win-Win for everyone!
