How FOMO works

1. You purchase the voucher from us by choosing "Buy Now", The voucher will then be emailed to you.
2. To make a booking, follow instructions on the voucher.
3. You give the merchant the voucher.

**For a specific date in mind, please contact the merchant first on details below under "Fine Print" to confirm date before buying the voucher*

1. Your cancellation rights

CANCELLING YOUR FOMO VOUCHERS

2.1 You have a statutory right to cancel your purchase of the Voucher unless otherwise stated (non-refundable vouchers), within 7 working days after the day you receive your voucher via email (the "Voucher Cancellation Period") provided your cancellation reason is not one of the below:

Not requesting availability from the merchant using the contact details provided on the product page on FOMO prior to buying the voucher, resulting in you not being able to use your voucher after purchase.
Cancelling your voucher after a booking has been made and falling outside of the merchant cancellation period needed for a refund.(Each merchant cancellation policy will then be in effect, and merchant will have to approve the refund)

If your cancellation reason is one of the above, you will still be entitled to 1 of the 3 options listed below.

Credit for the same amount to be used on FOMO
Extension period of your voucher for a further 3 months
Refund less 20% handling admin processing fee

Should you request a refund within the 7 working day period, FOMO will issue you with a refund, However, if you redeem your Voucher during the Voucher Cancellation Period, you expressly request the services to begin being provided to you, and you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel the purchase of the Voucher. Since FOMO is not responsible for the supply or provision of the Merchant Offering, once your Voucher is redeemed you are not entitled to a refund (in whole or in part).

2.2 If you want to cancel your purchase of a Voucher you can do so by submitting a refund request to [email protected]

2.3 If you cancel your purchase of the Voucher in accordance with this section 2.1, FOMO will refund you for all payments made as part of your purchase

How To Buy on FOMO?

1. Browse through the website and select the offer you wish to purchase and click ‘Buy Now’. You’ve now added the offer to your cart (top right)

2. You will then be redirected to your cart page, if you would like to add more products, Click “Continue Shopping” when your cart page is displayed

3. In the ‘My Cart’ section, you will be given a summary of your order. You will be able to review, remove and change the number of items bought

4. If you’re happy with your order, click ‘Proceed to Secure Checkout’ to proceed to the payment section

5. Enter you Name and Email in the spaces provided

6. Select your preferred method of payment (Credit Card, Snapscan, Instant EFT or Payflex)

7. Click ‘Proceed to Payment’ to complete the purchase

7.1 If you selected “Credit Card, Debit Card or instant EFT”, you will be directed to the Payfast gateway to complete your payment

7.2 If you chose “Manual EFT”, you will receive an email with our banking details, once you have made your manual payment into our account, please send the proof of payment to [email protected], and you will be issued your voucher

7.3 If you chose “Buy Now, Pay Later with Payflex”, you will be directed to Payflex to complete your payment , see here for instructional video

8. Once payment is received, you’ll receive your FOMO voucher via the email you provided (check your spam folder)

How to make a Booking

FOMO does not handle bookings, you would need to purchase the voucher, contact details for the merchant will be on the voucher that is emailed to you.

For a specific date in mind, please contact the venue first. Contact details are on the FOMO product page.

What do I do with my voucher

Simply check the Fine Print of your voucher, it will tell you exactly what you need to know and what to do to redeem your FOMO voucher.

The Fine Print will give you the information you need to make contact with the partner offering you’ve bought.

Please note if you pay the merchant directly, you will have no claim or protection from FOMO in the event of a cancellation/refund or fraudulent deal

FOMO works tirelessly to negotiate discounted deals for merchants on behalf of FOMO users and to protect users from fraudulent transactions as well as be protected by our cancellation and refund policy.

Because of this is, it is important not to pay merchants directly and always make your purchase through our platform. You may contact the merchant on availability for booking, but the purchase should always go through FOMO's platform.
