The beautiful scenery and deco topped with tantalizing meals. I loved the tranquility, and the staff were super awesome. They definitely know what they are doing. Thank you for the exceptional service you guy delivered. It was definitely more than we paid for. Your staff made us feel at home, and they even had a laugh with us when we had a moment of laughter. The ending of our 3-hour session ended with an exotic meal and traditional music that they conducted themselves. They were cheerful and vocal, then leading us to our final head massage, and off we went home. Massages were good. Although a quiet environment is key, the massage therapists can engage a little more with the clients, sometimes the vibe was way too serious. The 2 hostesses we had were very friendly. - 1/01/1970

The experience was nice & the ladies are nice. However, the place needs serious renovations. It has such good potential but aesthetically it’s a no no . Even at the entrance there’s a weird shack that I do not expect to see if I’m going on a spa date. The place needs massive renovations. If you pay so much , the aesthetics should match ! - 5/01/2025 

The messages we excellent, the place still seem new and still under renovation. The starters and dessert could be better, but the main reason for being there was to get a message and I would rate that a 9 out of 10 - 3/31/2025 

We visited the venue 03-05-2025 for the Midnight Spa experience including dinner,dessert and treats.

On arrival we were greeted with singing and dancing by our lovely hosts.
We sat outside by the pool and waited to be taken into the dining hall, it was cold to be seated outside. So that needs to be reviewed.

Upon entry in the dining hall the host greeted us, explained the evenings proceedings and at this point we were offered something to drink and a little cheeseboard to share.

The handing out of gowns and slippers were done in such a fashion that I feel they shouldn't ask for gown sizes telephonically when reservations are made cos the one I ended up with was way to small and then exchanged for one waaaay too big. They no longer provide disposable slippers either,so I'd advise to take your own slippers to walk in around the spa cos your only other option is to choose from rubber tongs that they have.

Dinner was an attempt at butter chicken, it was horrible,salty and served with the most stiff yellow rice ever.

Honestly speaking, the only thing I really enjoyed was the singing and dancing by the most friendly staff and the massage treatments. Each treatment was probided by a different masseuse, but all of them know exactly what they're doing, are professional and really good.

For the caliber of place, where it is situated, price and the name I was quite disappointed in the averagenes. It was not my first time (loved the full day spa back in 2022) and I expected a better as I'm of the opinion things should improve instead of deteriorate. - 5/31/2025 

Off the bat I have to say this is going to be a mixed review. I am going to be blatantly honest considering the costs of the treatments. I believe in getting value for money.
I purchased a Black Friday couples full day spa voucher. The first irritation was that we were forced to redeem it at the winelands branch and it needed to be used in the week. This meant I needed to take a days leave to use it.
This was not my first visit for the full day treatment but the last visit was in winter and this was in the heart of summer.
The welcome was warm and staff were friendly. We were shown our table and then taken to the change rooms to put on our robes and slippers. The cotton robes were lovely as it was hot for towelling. The slippers seemed a bit cheap but they did last the day. A thought would be to use the slippers as a marketing exercise and invest in a better quality, brand it so guests can take them home as a keepsake.
Breakfast was served and it was a bowl of muesli with yoghurt, a muffin and a scone with butter. In retrospect this breakfast could have been broken up by giving the muesli first and the muffin and scone a bit later maybe after the first or second treatment. To eat all 3 items at 08h30 is a bit much and many people sent the muffin and scone back so there is quite a bit of wastage.
The head and neck massage was enjoyable. But a big issue with the venue is that the aircons were not working so it got very hot really quickly. They opened doors and windows but that just allowed more heat in. One of the guests actually fainted during the first treatment.
The second issue is that they have ice water dispensers but very few glasses. They kept running out of glasses throughout the day. And guests needed to keep asking for glasses and they would only bring out one.
They decided to do the hand and foot treatments outside under the trees which was a pleasant experience as it was cooler with a bit of a breeze.
But the full body exfoliation and hot stone massage was done inside. It was so killer hot that our therapist decided to finish our treatment 10 minutes early because even they couldn’t stand the heat.
Also there are no oils or scents being burned in the treatment rooms, the staff are running around whole day in the heat and get sweaty. By the afternoon that odour is not pleasant and that takes away from the relaxing experience.
The other issue is that they did our hot stone full body massage the morning and the full body exfoliation the afternoon. It makes more sense to do it the other way round so that you end off with the massage.
Lunch was lovely, the chicken wrap was delicious and nutritious. Desert was yummy too.
We were asked to complete a feedback sheet after each treatment but there were no pens or pencils on the tables. Guests were constantly asking for pens.
The bathrooms are fine but the toilet seats are skew and flimsy. They move when you sit down. There is no staff checking bathrooms so when toilet paper is up it does not automatically get replaced, you need to ask for more.
Our experience in winter was much better because we did not have the heat issue. So that is something to consider when making a booking. For the price and brand name they should consider these issues or people will go elsewhere. - 7/31/2024
