Inspired by a host of influences, they offer a plant-based menu and flexitarian menu, with chicken as their primary ingredient – and they’re fully Halaal. They have the nation salivating over their all-day brekkies and burgers, their superb sides, braais, super bowls and their desserts, but their Korean-styled fried chicken with a South African twist is their claim to fame!
Make no mistake, this is a courageous brand. Some might even call them crazy, but they pride themselves on being plucky! Go on, follow their mission statement and make my day!

What truly stood out was the portion size – it was not only delicious but incredibly filling. Plucky's certainly doesn't skimp on serving up a hearty meal.
Now, let's talk about the boba, which was an unexpected delight. The drinks were refreshing, and the boba pearls had just the right texture and sweetness. They were the perfect complement to the meal.
The atmosphere at Plucky's is also something worth mentioning. The vibe is inviting and relaxed, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The restaurant's cleanliness and warm ambiance added to the overall experience, making it an enjoyable place to dine.
However, what truly sets Plucky's apart is its exceptional staff. They provided honest recommendations and were a pleasure to interact with. Their pleasant and welcoming attitude enhanced our overall dining experience, and it's clear that they take pride in providing top-notch customer service.
Been many times, and will continue to visit.
One concern I do have, is that I think staff could wear gloves when handling foods such as kimchi or anything else really. I witnessed a cook squeeze the kimchi with her hands (without wearing any gloves).
Other than that, this place never ever disappoints. Can’t wait for our next visit.
Delicious food and a go-to place if you're craving Korean styled food with a tiny touch of South African taste. They have friendly staff. The wait is not long +-5-10 minutes. While you wait, why not try out their selfie/photo section for the gram.
