The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 - I would have loved to stop now and then to admire the views. There are some points while riding where you can see table mountain in the distance with all these amazing dunes surrounding you and it would have been great to just pause and take the moment in. Also there are some points where you're completely surrounded by the white sands, but since you're constantly riding its just a quick view. Of course the main point of this activity is dune riding and for that I give 5 stars without hesitation, but perhaps consider adding a 1.5 hr tour where you can use that additional time to 'stop and smell the roses'.

My family did this in Cape Town during our July vacation. We had a blast! Booking was easy, we felt safe and Ernest took great care of us along with some amazing pictures to capture the memories! My only advice is the Dunes are a decent distance from Cape Town, and if you take an Uber or ride there, it may be hard to find one back. So, we arranged to have a driver stay with us during that hour and take us back to the hotel. Well worth it, and a highlight of our trip! - 7/23/2025

An amazing experience!
The dunes were breathtaking and riding the quad bikes was so much fun. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt safe. Perfect for beginners too. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for adventure near Cape Town!

This was such a fun experience. We had a lot of fun cruising through the dunes and we even stopped for photos and videos along the trail.
