Just missing our top spot and perfectly located at the very start of Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard in De Waterkant, Restaurant Boujee is the perfect place to dine if you’re looking for the perfect spot to start your night out on the town while enticing your senses.
Best Known For: Someone once said “The best meat is in the tail”, and boy oh boy is that the understatement when it’s comes to Boujee’s Lobster Tail Salad.
A Must-Have: Prawn Platter – a sushi platter that consists of 19 pieces that are prepared in 3 very different ways. This platter has the power to make one forget that two different varieties of sushi are indeed in actual fact both of the same animal!
Something Else: The Yuzu Cheesecake is a dessert that will make you rethink cheesecake altogether, and even make you want to relocate to Japan itself!

Located at the very start point of Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard in the V&A Waterfront, Willoughby & Co. has consistently proved them to be at forefront of seafood and sushi fine dining in the Mother City. Known for signature 4×4 or their 5×5 pieces of sushi – Willoughby & Co is the best place to go to for a perfect night with family or friends, and definitely the perfect location for popping the question!
Best Known For: SUSHI! When one hears or reads Willougby & Co., the mind immediately directs towards a sushi dining experience that will send anyone to sushi heaven!
A Must-Have: Salmon Saikyo Miso Yaki – If you love salmon, then this is the dish that will make your heart sing! A marinated and broiled salmon fillet – Japanese style, of course – with a special sauce and veg on the side to bring it all together!

Paranga is not the place to go if you’re looking for creative and innovative sushi recipes, but it’s on this list because boy oh boy does it have the best ambiance and service!
Best Known For: The upmarket vibe! One could even dare say it is the spot with the most finesse anywhere in the southern hemisphere! The ambiance and overall experience definitely creates a memory that is going to be taken away with you.
A Must-Have: The Paranga Seafood Platter for 2 – Why? Can you think of anything better than enjoying the best of what the ocean has to give you, while looking at the beachfront and sitting in the very heart of Africa’s riviera?
Something Else: The signature Escalope of Chicken is a sheer crowd-pleaser, thanks especially to the insane mustard-based sauce which truly makes this most common protein, shine.
